The annual competition recognizes product manufacturers offering the most innovative and unique products used in the design of healthcare environments.

Jurors comprised of architects, interior designers, healthcare providers, facility managers and consultants evaluated products based on their contribution to the quality of care, functionality, environmental sustainability, quality of construction, aesthetics, style and value.
The GCX Patient Engagement Table has an integrated tablet mount and variety of accessories to make it easy for patients to safely and easily use a tablet at the bedside. The patent-pending design includes: an adjustable- height, over-bed table made of a durable, synthetic, thermoplastic surface, with welled areas to contain spills; easy-to-use hand controls; anodized aluminum construction for durability and ease of cleaning; integrated, industry-standard GCX channel profile to facilitate IT hardware integration; accessory track to add storage and USB ports; and grip points for easier positioning by patients and clinicians.
“I have had a number of clients ask for an over-bed table that integrated an iPad or tablet device with a charger. This is the first product to achieve this goal,” said one juror. Added another: “Just what we’ve been looking for! Especially appreciate the ports for charging.”
