GCX Corporation gets public recognition for export success

Medical instrument, IT mounting solutions help develop Middle East medical infrastructure

Export success by GCX Corporation is assisting nations in the Middle East to develop their medical infrastructure with the help of GCX medical instrument and IT mounting solutions.

GCX recently received public recognition for 2013 sales in the Middle East region. The U.S. Commerce Department awarded GCX an Export Achievement Certificate for success in exporting, and Rep. Jared Huffman’s office gave a second certificate to his home-district manufacturer. Both awards were presented at a recent ceremony at Dominican University of California, San Rafael.

GCX reported $1.5 million in total exports to the nations of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Lebanon and Jordan last year that could be traced to its participation in Arab Health, an annual exhibition in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The U.S. Commercial Service, a branch of the U.S. International Trade Administration, collaborated with GCX to help with marketing efforts surrounding the event.

About half of the 300 GCX employees are located at its headquarters in Petaluma, California, with the others distributed among warehouse and production facilities in El Paso, Texas; New Taipei City, Taiwan; and Tilburg, Netherlands; as well as sales staff in the Netherlands, Germany, France, Japan and Hong Kong.
