Over the past few months we have faced the largest challenge in company history, COVID-19. At GCX, we are committed to positioning technology to improve health. We are inspired - more than ever - to meet this commitment and support our customers and partners by producing life-saving equipment and patient monitoring products as part of our moral obligation to the global healthcare community. Here are some of the actions we are taking:

GCX COVID-19 Response

Employee Health and Safety

The health and safety of our employees is our number one priority. Without our incredible staff, we would be unable to support the global needs for products. We have taken careful steps to educate our employees on the recommended measures to limit the spread of infectious diseases, following guidance from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and federal, state and local governments. Any employee who may have symptoms is advised to follow CDC guidelines, including self-quarantine, and consult with a medical professional. We have restricted all non-essential business travel throughout the world and are requiring employees who travel to follow CDC quarantine and social distancing guidelines upon return.

Facilities and Work Environment

To meet the unprecedented demand for GCX solutions, we are maintaining manufacturing at all of our build warehouses. Only employees essential to production are on-site and we are taking all measures to meet CDC guidelines. Along with regular deep cleaning of our facilities, we have taken measures to support social distancing such as the removal of all doors within the facility. All other employees are working remotely, equipped with the tools to continue to support the business. Our Regional Sales Managers, who regularly work remotely, are limiting their in-person interactions and using alternative approaches to continue providing the high-quality service you have come to expect from GCX.

Supplier and Customer Expectations

We have adjusted our operations to make the most significant impact we can on the global fight against the virus - by supplying the products needed to diagnose and treat patients affected by COVID-19. Additionally, we have partnered with our supply base, as essential businesses, to maintain operations and prioritize GCX demand to support the products needed on the front lines. Internally, we have cross-trained our employees from non-production roles to the assembly floor and opened additional assembly lines targeted to COVID-specific products in order to increase output. We are actively doing whatever we can to support our customer’s demand.
